This Privacy Policy explains how Aptics, Inc. ("Aptics," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information for Plaza, our consumer shopping and product discovery experience available at www.shopplaza.ai and through related Plaza app experiences.

Plaza helps users discover products, build shopping preferences, save products, receive recommendations, and click through to retailers, merchants, or partner offers. Aptics is based in the United States. Plaza is intended only for users in the United States who are at least 18 years old.

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Plaza.

Contact And Account Information

We may collect your email address, name, login credentials, waitlist information, beta access information, support requests, and other contact or account information you choose to provide.

Shopping And Preference Information

We may collect information you provide or generate through Plaza, including style preferences, shopping preferences, size and fit information, favorite brands, saved products, product clicks, product views, product skips, search queries, profile inputs, feedback, and other information you choose to share.

Affiliate, Referral, Outbound Click, And Conversion Information

If Plaza uses affiliate links, referral links, or partner offers, we may collect information about outbound clicks, merchant destinations, referral or click identifiers, timestamps, and related performance data. We may also receive limited conversion or purchase-related information from affiliate networks, merchants, or partner platforms where available.

Device, Security, And Essential Technical Information

We may collect limited technical information needed to operate, secure, debug, and maintain Plaza. This may include device information, browser or app information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, session information, and similar technical information.

Analytics And Similar Technologies

Plaza uses Google Analytics to understand basic website usage, including page views, traffic sources, device and browser information, approximate location, outbound clicks, scrolls, and waitlist signup events. We do not send waitlist email addresses to Google Analytics. We may also use essential cookies, device storage, or similar technologies where needed for login, account security, fraud prevention, privacy choices, saved preferences, and core product functionality.

Sensitive Personal Information

Plaza does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, government IDs, financial account passwords, health information, biometric data, or precise geolocation.

We use personal information to:

• Provide, operate, personalize, and improve Plaza.
• Maintain accounts, preference profiles, saved products, shopping memory, and recommendations.
• Operate the Plaza waitlist, beta access, and launch communications.
• Route users to merchants, retailers, affiliate networks, and partner offers.
• Operate affiliate, referral, merchant, and partner programs.
• Measure whether outbound links work and understand which product experiences are useful.
• Respond to inquiries, support users, maintain security, prevent fraud, debug issues, and comply with legal obligations.

We may share personal information with service providers that help us host, operate, secure, support, analyze, and maintain Plaza. These providers may use information only as needed to provide services to Aptics.

When you click affiliate links, referral links, or partner offers, we may share or make available limited information with affiliate networks, merchants, or partner platforms as needed to track referrals, attribute commissions, prevent fraud, measure performance, and operate partner programs. We may also receive limited conversion or purchase-related information from affiliate networks, merchants, or partner platforms where available.

Aggregate Partner Reporting

We may share aggregate or de-identified performance information with brand, retail, affiliate, or merchant partners. We do not share individual shopper profiles or personally identifiable preference data with affiliate networks or brands unless you give explicit consent or applicable law requires it.

Legal, Safety, And Business Transfers

We may disclose personal information when required or appropriate to comply with law, legal process, or government requests; enforce our agreements; investigate fraud, security, or technical issues; protect rights, property, or safety; or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction.

Aptics does not sell personal information to data brokers. Some disclosures through affiliate, referral, network attribution, merchant handoff, or partner technologies may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged for the personal information itself.

You may opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information by using the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in the Plaza footer, visiting www.shopplaza.ai/do-not-sell-share, or contacting privacy@aptics.io.

Plaza uses Google Analytics for basic website measurement. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to help us understand aggregate site traffic, page usage, outbound clicks, and waitlist signup events.

We may use essential cookies, device storage, or similar technologies for login, account security, fraud prevention, privacy choices, saved preferences, and core product functionality. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings, though some essential technologies may be necessary for Plaza to work correctly.

We do not currently use advertising pixels or third-party email marketing tools. If Plaza adds advertising pixels or third-party email marketing tools in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any required notice or choice before those tools go live.

Depending on the U.S. state where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information; opt out of certain sale, sharing, or marketing activities; designate an authorized agent; and not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Plaza, maintain accounts, profiles, saved products, recommendations, waitlist or launch communications, affiliate and partner program operations, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and legitimate business purposes.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Plaza may link to third-party merchants, websites, products, services, and offers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy. Review third-party policies before providing information or completing a purchase.

Plaza is intended only for users in the United States who are at least 18 years old. Plaza is not intended for minors, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to Plaza, contact privacy@aptics.io.

In the past 12 months, Aptics may have collected the following categories of personal information for Plaza:

• Identifiers, such as name, email address, IP address, account identifiers, and profile identifiers.

• Commercial information, such as products or services viewed, considered, saved, clicked, or purchased through partner links where available to Aptics.
• Internet or electronic activity, such as interactions with Plaza, affiliate links, recommendation flows, account features, and product discovery experiences.
• Inferences or preference information, such as style preferences, shopping preferences, size and fit information, favorite brands, saved products, product clicks, profile inputs, and preferences inferred from Plaza interactions.

We collect this information from you, from your Plaza interactions, from service providers, from affiliate networks and partner platforms where applicable, and automatically through essential technologies.

We may disclose personal information to service providers, affiliate networks, merchants, partner platforms, advisors, authorities, and parties involved in business transfers, as described above.

Some disclosures through affiliate, referral, network attribution, merchant handoff, or partner technologies may be considered a sale or sharing under California law.
